Team Suzuki/Rockstar/Makita racer, and newly crowned Supercross champ, Ryan Dungey did something few moto riders have ever done. With his win, at this years final outdoor motocross National at Pala Raceway, not only did Dungey break Ricky Carmichael's rookie season record of nine overall wins, he tacked that record onto his already impressive rookie season ow winning the AMA Supercross championship!
Talk about over achievers. Dungey did it with a smooth as silk performances aboard his Suzuki 450, after he and Suzuki Team manager, Roger DeCoster, addressed some of the early engine issues that surfaced in the season opener at Hangtown (see the Off-Road Illustrated, Roger DeCoster interview in our YouTube video section for more).
